A big improvement in road comfort
I noticed a big improvement in road comfort after the CEAT tyres were fitted, I previously used a premium brand so did not know what to expect in comparison but the tyres have exceeded my expectation. I have been using the tractor for ploughing since fitment of the tyres and I am very happy with the self cleaning and grip level of the tyre, even in two wheel drive I have not been getting any loss of traction.

Tyres have been great. Had no complaints from the lads which is always a good sign. I noticed they were quiet and the tractor became a more comfortable ride. We have had a lot of rain in the last few months but the grip was there without damaging the fields.

I had 580/70R38 and 480/70R28 CEAT FARMAX R70 fitted to my tractor and there was a noticeable difference in road comfort, I have always run massey fergusons and have had this one for a few years. The tyres have now been on for twelve months and have done very well in the wide range of work I have been doing with it. Recently I have been using it with a large tanker on the back and the tractor feels very stable even with a large load. I live in very mountainous conditions so good quality tyres with good traction are extremely important to me and the CEAT have been doing a great job

Firstly, the tyres are great value for money. Excellent driving comfort, road noise is much lower than previous tyres we’ve had. We do a lot of road work but the tread wear is very even and the tyres are giving a really smooth, quiet ride. When we go into a field you can feel the grip straight away and the tyres still don’t seem to mark the ground too much either. We had a slow start using the tyres but since our hours have increased my confidence in the CEAT tyre is growing all the time. Wouldn’t have a second thought to purchase again in the future

I was amazed with the quality look and feel of the CEAT Tyre when they were being fitted. Once we got the tractor on the ground we were very happy with the low road noise and general comfort of the tyre. This was a big improvement from the tyres we were replacing. When we went into the field, the grip was instant and there was no sign of slipping. The self-cleaning aspect of the tyre is very good, especially if you think how wet the fields have been lately. I’ve been watching the tyres closely during testing and with the predicted final hours I couldn’t be happier with the product.

There is little road noise even on uneven roads and tracks. The grip is there in the fields. Self-cleaning properties are also good. The tyre sits nice and wide on the wheel. We are looking forward to ploughing and giving it really good test as our terrain is very rocky.

The CEAT looks quite a flat tyre across the tread with sharp corners; I think this bigger contact area is where I’m getting better traction from in the field. Also, the CEAT has wider lugs than tyres we’ve had in the past. Sidewall flexibility also seems to be very good. The tyres self-clean very well in wet conditions. They are more comfortable and quieter to ride on the road with, even when pulling a trailer.

With radial tyres, sometimes, when you go from asphalt to concrete the ride can be like night and day. With CEAT, the ride is smooth the entire time ... it doesn't matter if you are carrying a big load or no load, or what the speed is. The CEAT tyres have a variable pressure rating which allows us to run low pressure for good flotation and keeping the weight out of the ground. We have found with the CEAT price point we are able to have one or two extras on hand. That is very handy!

The ride with CEAT tyres is 50% better than other tyres I’ve used. The CEAT tyre is very reliable and very, very durable. CEAT has put a lot of technology, time and effort into making a really good tyre for the farmer. We've never had a flat on the CEAT tyres. They are very durable. I’m expecting to get 10,000 hours of service life on the current set of CEAT Ag radials. In the past, with other tyres I've run on other tractors, we've gotten about half that life and they were also radials.

Frankly, I like the flotation and traction I get pulling my vegetable harvesters in extremely wet conditions with the CEAT radials.  They look really good. I have been running the CEAT bias tyres for years and have been very happy and pleased with their service life. However, these CEAT radials are certainly a very nice upgrade. The overall performance and value that the CEAT Ag tyres deliver is definitely important to my operation.
